More Christmas cards made with Hunkydory die cut toppers

Another selection of Christmas cards, this time made with Hunkydory die cut toppers from the Buttons & Boots and Cosy Christmas topper sheets and foiled A4 card blanks. I cut the card and mirri backing mats using Go Kreate and Nestabilities dies.
For the first five cards, I used A4 sheets of Snowfall Flourish foiled card, folded in half to make A5 cards.

The next couple of cards were made using velour flocked card blanks.

For the next three cards I used A4 sheets of Plaid Snowfall foiled card, folded in half to make A5 cards.

For the last few cards, the toppers are mounted on pastel coloured A6 cards. The first is finished with a Card Art greetings banner and the last three with Dufex Christmas greetings stickers, currently available as a free gift if you spend over £20 at Foil Play.

More Christmas cards made with Kanban die cut toppers

Here's another selection of Christmas cards made with Kanban toppers, which make an ideal focal point for beautiful festive cards.
For the first few cards, I mounted the toppers onto co-ordinating card mats, then onto 5 x 7 inch base cards, with a little sheer organza ribbon to finish the cards.

The next three cards were made using some lovely velour flocked card blanks that I got from Create & Craft a couple of years ago.
I made a mistake with the card above and mounted the topper upside down on the card - doh! Not to worry, I cut off the card front and mounted it onto a larger A5 red card.

For the last few cards, I used the cuttlebug snowflakes embossing folder to produce background mounts in a mixture of plain and pearlescent card.
I used A4 card folded in half to make A5 base cards and for a finishing touch, I've rounded the corners of both the cards and the embossed mats using a corner chomper.

Quick Christmas cards with Dufex stickers and toppers

Another selection of quick and easy Christmas cards, this time using Dufex stickers (pictured above) and toppers cut from an A4 Christmas motif sheet (pictured below). Again, I've used patterned Papermania A6 cards, the stickers have been layered up with mats cut using nestabilities dies.

Looking for a gift for a crafty friend? Foiling kits are particularly popular at this time of year. Foil Play has a great selection of kits available in a range of colours. Each kit contains all the recipient needs to start foiling - a taster pack of foils, a glue pen and instructions. For more hints and tips, check out previous blog posts for Foil Play Design Team creations.

Other gift ideas include sets of ultrafine glitter (a crafter can never have too much glitter!), rubber stamps, crafting tools and sets of decoupage.
If you choose a gift voucher from Foil Play, the recipient can have all the fun of choosing what they would like for themselves from the thousands of crafty goodies available on the Foil Play web site.

Vouchers are available in £5 denominations up to the amount of your choice - so for example, if you would like to give a £25 voucher, purchase five.

Quick Christmas cards with Kanban toppers

Sometimes it's great to spend a long time on a special card, at other times (especially as Christmas is fast approaching!) what you want is to make lots of cards quickly.

DC Comics die cut and step by step decoupage: Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman

Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it's Superman - along with Batman and Wonder Woman too. You may have seen it demonstrated recently on Ideal World and Create and Craft TV, DC Comics decoupage has now arrived at Foil Play.
The DC Comics range features a great selection of traditional decoupage sheets (designed for larger cards), die cut invertage and pyramage sheets, retro design backing papers and topper sheets too with pictures, icons and sayings to produce a completely co-ordinated look.
As ever at Foil Play, you don't have to invest in a huge kit, you can instead pick the individual sheets of your own choice, with free p&p on orders over £5.00.
For inspiration on how to use these sheets, check out the brilliant card samples made by Fabrizio and Vince, members of the Hobby Habit design team, on Fab's blog.
