Tim Wright and Nancy Watt decoupage - large and twister designs

Some lovely new elegant lady decoupage designs at Foil Play from Nancy Watt and Tim Wright, which you may have seen demonstrated on the Create & Craft shopping TV channel.

The Nancy Watt designs include some beautiful large designs of elegant ladies (like the one pictured above), suitable for A4 cards. These are traditional decoupage sheets so scissors are required, however the designs are simple and unfussy to cut out.
Also from Nancy Watt, a delicious selection of pyramid decoupage sheets, with a choice of Edwardian and Art Deco ladies in twister, diamond twister and stacker formats.
From Tim Wright, there is a selection of Fabulous Fifties and Raging Beauties vintage inspired designs. Each sheet contains two pyramid stacker designs and a selection of complementary design elements, including greetings.

An Easter card

Here's an Easter card that I made last year for a card swap on the CraftTelly forum.

The base card is pale blue. I've used Easter Dufex silver motif and greeting toppers, matted onto a metallic blue background with double sided foam.

The card has also been embellished with eggs and a greeting from the Magic Motifs Easter pack. The eggs were foiled with silver rub on foil, and the Happy Easter greeting glittered with silver ultra fine art glitter.

Easter card making supplies

With Easter rapidly approaching, I thought it would be handy to do a round up of what's available at Foil Play for making Easter cards. First of all, the cute selection of new Patchwork Kingdom Easter characters designed by Beth Huges, with co-ordinating background papers. The Easter hen is pictured above.
Also new, two foiled die cut sheets from Kanban containing a selection of Easter toppers and greetings, with co-ordinating daffodil and Easter egg background card sheets.
There is a selection of traditional 3D step by step decoupage sheets featuring cute bunnies and chicks, if you prefer religious images, there are plenty of those available too.
I have just stocked up again on Easter greetings peel offs with several designs available to choose from in gold, silver and yellow, and also on Mother's Day greetings peel offs.
Dufex has a range of Easter goodies available, including the die cut decoupage kit pictured above, which contains a die cut sheet, a non die cut elements sheet and a project sheet.
This Dufex sheet with cute chicks and bunnies is available in both die cut and traditional decoupage formats.
If you have a lot of Easter cards to make, this Dufex topper sheet is great value, it contains many different motifs and greetings. There is also a lovely co-ordinating Easter egg patterened texture sheet.
These cute magic motifs can be used with foil, glitter or flock. Even better, they are priced to clear!
Last but not least, if you are quick, you'll be able to snap up the last few Easter Egg and Easter basket brass charms in stock.

eBay - time for a break

I have been trading on eBay as Foil Play for almost five years now and eBay has been a great help in building my business. However, it can also be a very time consuming sales channel, particularly with the large number of policy changes implemented over the last couple of years.

There are only so many hours in the day and I have reached the stage where I want to concentrate on developing and growing the Foil Play website.

I've decided therefore to take a complete break from eBay, at least for a while, when my remaining listings end later this month. In the meantime, I will of course continue to despatch all eBay orders as promptly as usual.

A big thank you to all my eBay customers over the past five years, it would be great to see you in future at Foil Play!

Creativity with a Kanban Concept card by Fabrizio

Fab has very kindly agreed to let me give a sneak preview of this gorgeous card that he has made for week 10 of his Big Christmas Cards Challenge blog.

The card proves the point that although Kanban concept cards are nearly almost done, you can still add your own twist and personalise them (or "take your crafting to the next level", as they say on the TV shows!).
Fab used Kanban pearls and Stampin Up Rhinestone brads plus a quilling star that he made with a quilling comb (an onion holder really) to embellish and personalise the card, with delicious results. Many thanks for letting me share, Fab!

The original concept card sheet is pictured below.
Check out Fab's Big Christmas cards challenge blog for many more creative Christmas card ideas - why not join in with the challenge and get well prepared for next Christmas!

Kanban goodies galore, die cut toppers, decoupage kits, card and more

A huge selection of the latest new goodies from Kanban is now in store at Foil Play - and I do mean huge!

Firstly two sheets of lovely Easter themed foiled and die cut topper sheets, with co-ordinating easter egg and daffodil patterned backing card.
For those elusive male cards, there is a selection of vintage train and car stacker sheets. Each sheet contains a die cut 3D stacker pyramage project with co-ordinating backing panel and greetings toppers.
For the ladies, there is a delicious selection of Shabby Chic die cut topper sheets and co-ordinating background card.
Check out the new stylish ladies foiled and flitter glittered die cut topper sheets. You can use the edges of these sheets with four panels of ladies as borders.
Other stylish lady topper sheets feature die cut 3D decoupage projects. All of the stylish lady sheets are suitable for larger card projects.
Another new range is the Lipstick Divas - these elegant young ladies feature in die cut decoupage kits, pyramage sheets and flitter glittered topper sheets.
There are some beautiful new die cut oriental topper sheets too, again suitable for larger cards.
Check out the co-ordinating foiled backing oriental card sheets too.
Last but not least, there is an enormous selection of music and dance topper sheets, which featured in the Today's Special Value on last Thursday's craft day on the QVC shopping channel.
The music and dance range includes a great selection of foiled and die cut topper sheets and unusual yin and yang shaped pyramage decoupage sheets.
If you loved the TSV but would struggle to use such a huge kit, why not pick the individual sheets of your choice from Foil Play?
All of the co-ordinating elements for the music and dance kit are also available at Foil Play, including foiled adhesive paper ribbon sheets, backing card sheets, glitzy ribbon and bling gems.
